The Swift comes as a superb option, especially in the 6 to 10 lakh price bracket , where it slays. Selling 15, 955 units in June 2023, the Swift became the second best – selling car of the month, despite a 2% decline in year – on – year growth.

2. Maruti Suzuki WagonR

The jack of all trades for two decades , the WagonR was and continues to be one of India’s favourite hatchbacks. What makes the WagonR a massively popular hatchback is it impeccably frugal engine, classic tall boy looks , balanced ride quality and spacious interiors. Selling a massive 17, 481 units in June 2023, the WagonR proudly bagged the numero uno spot despite a 9% decline in terms of year on year growth.

3. Maruti Brezza

The second generation of the Maruti Suzuki Brezza has truly elevated the compact SUV’s charm. Intelligently improving almost every shortcoming of the SUV , it seems as if Maruti has got everything right with the Brezza . and with premium features like a heads – up display , 360 degree camera, and even a sunroof now giving the Brezza a much – awaited edge , the road ahead looks great . Selling 10,578 units in June 2023, the SUV clocked in a massive 140% growth in year- on – year sales.

4. Maruti Baleno

The Baleno’s popularity has reached new levels helping the hatchback secure the fourth best selling spot . With 14,077 units sold, the Baleno outperformed several competitors despire a 13% decline in terms of year-on -year growth. The credit for Baleno’s recent success goes to its upgraded feature list that now includes a premium Arkamys sound system heads -up- display , 360-degree camera , along with bold new exteriors.

5. Tata Nexon

The Tata Nexon is a subcompact crossover SUV produced by the Indian automaker Tata Motors since 2017. It is the first crossover SUV from the brand , and occupies the sub- 4 metre crossover SUV segment in India.

With 14,447 units sold, the Hyundai Creta became the third best – selling car and the number one best – selling SUV of the month, with a 12% growth over the 13,790 units the SUV sold in the same month last year.

7. Maruti Dzire

The Suzuki Dzire is a subcompact notchback sedan made by Suzuki mainly for the Indian Market since 2008. It was developed as a sedan variation of the Swift hatchback. The Dzire was launched in 2008 and was based on the first generation Swift hatchback. It was introduced as a subcompact sedan for the Indian Market in order to offer a sedan like car in a smaller size. later , in order to get the tax benefits offered to cars with a length below 4 meters in India , It was converted into a sub 4 meter sedan.

8. Maruti Eeco 

Maruti Suzuki relaunched the versa as Eeco in January 2010. The van was revised with downgrading some Versa features and visual such as the dual blower air conditioning and colored bumpers , although the headlights werw updated with more modern style.

In March 2019 , the Eeco received major safety features such as driver side airbag, ABS , seat belt reminder system , speed alert and reverse parking sensors as standard across the range.

10. Maruti Grand Vitara

The latest SUV launch from Maruti, the Grand Vitara, has managed to become one of India’s best selling SUVs in only a few months. Offering a mix of premium features , great practicality, impeccable efficiency, balanced design, and dynamic performance , the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara has a lot going on . With 10,486units sold in June 2023, the SUV became the length-best-selling car and the second best selling SUV of the month.
